Pros:- I love this design which combines a warm winter hat with a scarf or neck gaiter. Really clever idea.- It's really warm and cozy. It provides some protection against the wind, and because there's no gap between the neck and head regions, it does a better job of keeping air out than separate pieces would.- It looks very cute and stylish in my opinion. After a particularly cold bit of January weather in the Maritimes I was looking for something warm to wear on my head on windy days that wouldn't blow around like a hood.This hat was vacuum sealed as many soft items are for shipping. It did have a bit of an odour when I first took it out of the package, and it still does after a couple days. I'm hoping this will dissipate soon.It is very soft on the inside, and toasty warm. It fits my standard-sized head just fine, it isn't too tight but isn't super loose either, works fine for me.Will your hair look great after taking it off? Probably not, but on cold days you have to decide whether you want to be warm outside and have hat hair or look pretty but frozen. I choose warm! I would order this again.

This balaclava winter hat by PESAAT is super soft and very comfortable and warm to wear. The acrylic wool is nice and thick and stretchy. Inside there is a soft fleece to keep you warm and the wind at bay. A soft fake fur surround your face.I found a tiny loose end of a thread inside but that was the only one. Nice colours and this would make a beautiful gift. Reasonably price as well.

The balaclava came vacuum packed in a resealable bag. It has a lovely knit pattern that switches from a double cable pattern to a sweater cuff style at the base of the face. Around the face opening is a lovely ruff of very soft faux fur. The inside is lined with a soft fleece. The lining is sewn into the knit fabric at the top of the hat, so it won’t shift. There’s a small tag just under the chin that rubs if you don’t remove it. I took care when cutting it out so I didn’t cut the seam it’s sewn into.The hat stretches a lot. It fits me perfectly. My husband can wear it, but it’s a bit tight around his face. I do have to take care when putting it on and off that I don’t knock off my glasses.It’s designed to open around the face. You can pull it up over your mouth, but that makes it bow open a little bit around the cheeks. The lining makes it great for protecting you against windchill, which I love.The hat is pretty warm. After walking in -2 Celsius for 15 minutes I started to overhead a bit in it, but on a walk in -8 it kept my head beautifully warm the whole time (except for my exposed face). I do appreciate that it removes the need for wearing a scarf.This is a warm, comfortable balaclava.

This balaclava is so warm and cozy. It’s easy to pull on and has a ton of soft faux fur to keep you warm. My only issue is that my face isn’t covered so I still need to wrap a scarf around me so it feels bulky. But depending on the weather, it’s perfect.
