Works very well. But is not very water resistant. I would love to give it a higher review, but unfortunately, it falls a little short.

Fishes do slipped off the tip of the grip, too smooth.No water breeches into the panel display, waterproofing ok.Also no rusting so far , I just wash it after use and spray down with WD40

Well made item which works perfectly as described. However the lanyard seems to be an afterthought in the design. An actual hole or clip to attach a lanyard would have been a better option.

Have been using a fish lip gripper like this one for three years. Lost it when releasing a 43 inch Musky as the fish thrashed. These devices make handling large fish much easier on the fish when removing lure hooks.I like this unit because it has a digital scale. I'm not sure how well the wrist band will work out since it doesn't have a dedicated anchoring lug, but time will tell.

Reads weight properly when the batteries are new. For some reason keeps draining batteries. I make sure the scale is off after use. Next weekend batteries are dead again. I would not purchase this again for this price

Scale and grip function great.I do like it, but there are two negatives:1: the screen is not water tight. After fishing in the rain, the screen had water in it. Impossible to read the display after drying, I resealed the the screen with silicone. Seems ok now2: no lanyard tie-off point. The only option is to wrap the lanyard around the hand grip. I find this to be poor design as it interferes with my grip.The brand names use split ring tie-off points.Still a good product for the price

I got this as a gift from my girlfriend and on the second day I dropped them in the lake....was too deep to retreive them :(...loved it so much I ordered a second one :)
