Fits my chinrest perfectly! It’s very hard to find chinrest covers for center-mounted chinrests. I looked for months and months. I am so pleased with this one. It’s comfortable and durable. The elastic loop was somewhat loose but I just tied a knot at the end of it, that took up some of the slack and made it tighter for securing itself onto the violin.

Ok, so my 9.5 year old daughter is a little unique - she is right-handed but has played the violin left-handed since she was 4 because that's what feels most natural to her. Since she's never had any formal lessons we've really had to learn a lot on our own through videos and doing our own research. I have purchased multiple chinrests for her in order to help her figure out what works best and is most comfortable for her. A center-mount seems to be best for her, but she was getting a mark on one side of her chin and it was irritating. After looking into multiple chinrest covers this one looked to be best (most covers seem to be for side-mount rests). This has been such a help to her! She's using this pad on her Wittner-Kinnhalter center mount rest and her violin is a full size and the pad fits great. She no longer has irritation on her chin and I'm so happy we found something that works so she can continue making music!

It fits well on my center-left mounted chin rest. Covers that are not mostly rectangular in shape or that offset to the left don't work on center mounted chin rests.This one does work well.

It came quickly and was fairly impressive. The fabric felt like good quality and the color was rich and even. It fits well on my chin rest, provides cushioning, and lets me play more comfortably in the warmer weather. I actually placed an order for the other shape of this same pattern. This rounded one fits okay on my new rest but I think the other shape may fit a little neater. On the rounded chin rests I tried, this fit beautifully!

My daughter stopped having allergic reaction to the metal in the shoulder rest of the violin. This covers the should rest so it won’t touch my daughter’s neck directly.
