I have two cats - one 22 and one 21 years old. I was looking for new treats and decided to give this a try. Neither cat was interested. I was also concerned with giving it to them. The shapes are not uniform and some had pieces that stuck out - I worried they would choke. I cut them in smaller pieces - then I tried wetting them. I will give then one more day. Usually they are excited about something new.If they still show no interest I will give them to a friend - maybe her dog will eat them.

These treats are amazing for cats with allergies. Our cat is allergic to chicken and finding treats has been difficult — these are pure beef liver and has not caused any adverse skin reactions for our boy!

I have a little carnivore cat and he loves these. He likes to go potty outside in the morning and I use these treats to encourage him to come back in after. It works. The dog likes them as treats too. Good minimal ingredient product. Easy to eat for the animals. No complaints or regrets at all. One of the better values around.

These dried liver chunks are just that. They pass the smell test and the cats are eager to devour them. I haven’t had any refusals yet. They smell like a mix of liver and breadcrumbs and leave less of a lingering odour on the hands compared to other cat treats. Some pieces are small as Temptations, while others are the size of Starburst candies. The bigger ones have to be broken as they won’t fit into the cat’s mouth, as hard as they try.

Some bigger pieces and smaller ones which makes all of my pets very happy. They are also easy to cut if you are buying them just for cats. Bigger pieces are perfect for dogs of any size.

My vet's office recommend I try liver treats for one of my two cats due to some plaque buildup on their teeth.. So I was blindly trusting of this product. I was so wrong. It was delivered while I happened to be home for lunch, so I gave one to each of my cats (A Persian cat and a normal calico cat) before I left to go back to work. I noticed the Persian cat, who these were originally for, only licked it a few times then turned away.. so I simply thought this a dud experience. Then he started to vomit.. repeatedly.. and foaming at the mouth a bit. He was walking around with gunk hanging from his face with me following in short pursuit, trying to clean it up as much as I could before returning late to work, knowing I would shampoo the carpet upon return. I thought that was the end of it.When I returned home that night, I found my other cat actually LOVED these treats, stole them from the tabletop, chewed the bag open, and ate half of them. After gorging herself she, too, vomited ALL OVER THE PLACE. Needless to say I was very busy that night cleaning my entire home, grateful for the doors I had shut and rooms I had spared of this horrific experience.Obviously this could just be my cats and nothing to do with the product. My Persian cat does have a sensitivity to some products in the past (not often, but a few), and my other cat obviously overdid it, but regardless it didn't sit well with them. All in all, if your cat has had food sensitivities in the past or is a fat glutton please be mindful, and I hope this doesn't happen to anyone else.

The cats love them AND they keep their shape (opposed to the chicken ones, which the cats also love) - so no mess!

Sorry to say, both of my cats didn’t approve the beef liver. One of my cats tried it and later on started puking with the food she ate before (she wasn’t puking hairball), she didn’t want to try the beef liver for the second time when I offered. My other cat took one sniff then just walked away.On the other hands, my dog likes it.The Beef liver treats are slightly cheaper than Duck liver treats, so I wanna give the beef liver treats a try. I mashed the duck liver treats and sprinkled them on the food to increase one of my cats appetite....The beef liver is a bit hard compared to the duck liver, tried to mash it so that my cat could lick it but half of them were too hard to just mash it with my fingers. It’s unlikely I will buy the Beef Liver Treats for my cats again... I will stick with the Duck Liver ones.

My two elderly cats love the scent of these, though had more of a challenge eating them as they are a harder texture than the fish or chicken flavors they've had before. If I soak them in warm water for a few minutes though that helps to soften them, and my kits will wait patiently, with anticipation for the savory scent enhanced by the water. The price is very good, and the size bag will last them awhile. The ingredients are pure as can be, so am glad they are happy to chow down.Overall, great value and enticing taste.

As with the Pure Bites chicken, my three cats all adore this. But it is not easy to serve as they come in big chunks that are not easy to break up with your hands. I've been taking a hammer to the bag and smashing them, which sort of works. Anyway, cats love them, but they are difficult to serve.

I gave it the minus one star for one problem. As is, neither of the cats will touch them. So I put the bag of treats through the food processor - and use very little of the liver 'dust' on his food every morning. I purchase this (and always keep an extra bag on hand) - as our older cat has a terrible digestive system - the least little thing will set off spewing and pooing messes. After years of trying the hairball meds and treats, pumpkin (from my rabbit years) to actually researching the issue and finding out that liver will work. So I've tried it - and now we are down to once a month - and the occasional - You left me, let me show you how mad that makes me 'spew'. He truly needs a kitty psychiatrist but even if we found one, we can't afford it right now. These are helping more than anything else in the past has.
