Got an old Hitachi X8160 but no remote. Eventually got tired of climbing up a ladder to turn the unit on and off. Most buttons work with the projector, but not all. Happily, the power button does work. Also nice is the focus buttons work. Sadly, the input does not work with my model… but I’m only using the one HDMI so not a deal breaker.
