I ordered this umbrella because of the description. But upon receiving it was disappointing. It does not have a tilting pole and the description talks about a valance which it clearly looking at picture does not have. I think time could be spent reviewing ads for our benefit.The umbrella seems to be sturdy, well made, glad it has the metal pole. Should last for the time that I need.

It’s just ok. The quality isn’t really there and I bet it wouldn’t last very long. It does work with my daughters step 2 water table so that is good. It’s flimsy though but I guess you get what you pay for.

works well. portable so she can move it to different locations I got it for the wife, on her request so she can keep working in the garden, picking blueberries ,and at the wood splitter when the sun is out. She can still be in the shade and get her chores done at the same time maybe next week i can get her a little fan .

I have an old one like this that lasted for maybe two decades. I was tempting to get a large shelter or a larger umbrella but one of these for every two people is probably lighter and cheaper.To secure the umbrella against strong winds, I hammer about one foot of PVC pipe into the sand. Then I drop the umbrella tube into the pipe. It doesn't matter how strong the wind is, the direction has to be straight up and vertical to move the umbrella in any way. An end cap is optional for the pipe so it doesn't collect sand. If it is a campsite instead of the beach, you need a foot of 3/4 EMT tube instead, which also works for the beach.

This was a gift for my mother's porch. I rigged the stem onto her railing which matched then color (white), and opened it to cool off her small upstairs porch. I will be editing this post with a photo soon. The neighbors are jealous at the price I paid and the quality as they spend about 3x more for umbrellas that were too big for the spot and didn't repel the heat as much as this little beach umbrella.

This is a GREAT umbrella, and not just for the beach. It comes with a pole handle like a rain umbrella and a separate pole that can be put into the ground to raise the height. I use the umbrella for gardening and other yard work that requires staying on my knees in one place for a while. Figure out where the umbrella needs to be to create the shade where you want it. Tap the lower pole into the ground. Fasten the upper pole to that and you're ready to go. Also has a handy strap with velcro to hold the umbrella together when it's closed.

product 20.00 pretty flimsy and didn't have tilt action. Didn't pay close enough attention to details.I I did still like it as the size is good for my apartment balcony. Most other patio umbrellas are 9-11 ft in diameter.
