The scale can weigh up to 660 pounds while the sling can hold a 200-pound calf, lamb, goat, or baby alpaca in the correct position to keep them from falling out. The LCD display backlight has a visual distance of over 32 feet and is best viewed at eye level. The scale records weight in 1/10th increments and has memory, meaning that once you first set the units to pounds, the memory keeps it there every time you turn on the device. For the money.. was exactly what I was looking for. I use to weigh calves. Have used up to 115 lbs so far.

The scale works great however the harness is very small and fragile. It is very difficult to fit in a 95lb calf and it sounds like it is about to break once you squeeze the calf in there. I have only used it a handful of times but when I have you can hear the threads ripping so I'm worried it won't last long.

Works great! pretty sturdy. I'm using it for sheep. Only thing bad I have to say is the sling is pretty short. If they were babies it would be fine but their all around 85lbs. I had to keep one arm under their chest & rear for balance because it just wasnt long enough to support the length of their body. They started to tip forward & would have fallen out. I'm keeping it for when their babies start to come but will order a bigger sling to use for the adults. Over all I'm happy with it & it's great for the price

My goats are very spoiled and a little on the chubby side. This scale was so easy to use, instead of my husband tryingto hold each one while standing on a bathroom scale, the job was very easy. No math involved.Within a few seconds we knew their weight and were able to administer medication.We highly recommend this product!.
