After a lot of searching and research I found this. Used to fix a couple of small slits in a VW camper pop top. Did the job and still going strong. Waterproof. Applied to the inside and hasn’t come off as yet. Would recommend.

It is not very sticky and comes off after a short time.Note: I cleaned this area well before applying the tape.It is applied on a patio furniture cover that had a tear.I would not recommend this tape.
