Really pathetic hammer action. This CANNOT even drive self-tapping metal screwed into 1/8th metal. Only good for soft wood. It might be lighter and more compact, but in my opinion it’s useless.

This may not be the toughest one on the market but I have put it through the ringer. It drives 4 inch construction lag screws through pine lumber well. Not as fast as the more expensive Pro models but for a home owner or semi pro carpenter it is great. Batteries charge fast but I would suggest buying the larger capacity battery and using the battery that comes with it for backup when the large battery is charging.

Worked as intended. This replaced a unit that went missing from my other kit. It works great for my intended use. I’ve come across other higher model Ryobi units that put this to shame, but for the price I paid it was a no brainer. The battery works great, holds a charge for a long time when not used, and when used still holds up well.

I needed to replace my batteries and charger, as I have the older blue Ryobi tools from 20+ years ago, still going strong. The newer lithium batteries work in the older tools. Saved me a ton of money and have full use of my tools again. obviously Ryobi has excellent build quality.The driver is super light and has a lot of torque for its size, highly recommend Ryobi tools.
