It works as a bilge pump, but it cycles every 2 1/2 minutes, which is very irritating. I have hooked it up to a another float switch that doesn’t turn power to the pump until there is significant water in the bilge. The repetitive cycling is very irritating.

Bought this pump to use as an automatic back up or redundant pump. The pump works on the manual mode and it cycles on the auto mode. However, it can be completely submerged and it will not come on and pump water. This apparently a poorly designed pump that does not work as indicated. I’m going to have to try another brand. Don’t buy this crap.
