This is exactly what I needed for washing off my kayak and to hook on to my insta hot shower for camping. Works great, easy to set up and put away. Hoses are good quality. Mine had one defect with the quick connect missing 1 of the three tabs. Hopefully I can get a replacement. Those things happen in mass production. I really like how its all in a case I pack tight for camping and this keeps it all safe compared to having it all in a bag getting squished. Whats simple and clever is the hoses rotate to come out of the case at pre notched places same for the power so you can close it up have it tucked aside while setup in use. 1yr later it still works great except the hose kept popping off because of the missing tab mine had from the start. Good news is customer service is wonderful and took care of my problem. They sent the replacement that I needed after some communication. Top notch!

Using this washdown pump to spray off pollen, dirt, etc. from a dock, boat cover, and boat using lake water. Spray pressure and water volume is somewhat less than a typical home garden hose, but the stream is good enough for a reasonable rinse-off. The carry-pack works great, and everything goes back into place without being a puzzle.Uses cigarette plug for 12V power input. 6 foot inlet hose with filter is lowered into lake (or other water source). Switch on cord to turn on/off. Nozzle cap can be adjusted from wide spray to narrow spray to off position. If nozzle cap is adjusted off, motor will shut off and you won't get any spray when the trigger is pulled.

We have been looking for a solution to move water from our fresh water jugs into the fresh water tank of our RV (we only have a 40gal tank so we bring extra water from time to time when boondocking). This pump works perfectly for pumping water out of our 4 6gal jugs. The quick release attachments, the powerful motor, the case it comes in for easy storage, are all are perfect for what we needed. We have used it 4-5 times now this summer and it has worked perfectly, no leaking. We are so glad we found something that works well for our situation. We had to go through a couple different pumps and solutions before finding this one. Would definitely recommend it for anyone looking for the same thing!By the way, it may not be "officially" rated for fresh water but it works for us. We never drink from our fresh water tank anyway. We always bring a case of water bottles that we can throw in the fridge :)

This pump arrived missing a crucial hose adapter. I tried contacting Amazon to see about acquiring the small plastic part but they weren’t able to help. I contacted SeaFlo in China and they referred me to SeaFlo in Spain. They then referred me to SeaFlo in the USA. After countless attempts to reach a service agent and dozens of emails, I have given up. Inside the SeaFlo pump case is a paper that guarantees 100% satisfaction. Well maybe so if you can ever get a hold of them. I ended up trying to make-shift something to enable me to use the pump hose, but it leaks terribly. The factory part is essential for it to work properly. Although the pump itself appears to be high quality, unfortunately it’s totally useless without the hose adapter.

This wash down pump is amazing, deserves six stars at least and unfortunately the bullet point descriptions don't do it justice. I rarely give any item a five star so saying six stars is a lot for me and you can read my review criteria below.The description says 70 PSI and 4.5 gallons per minute, which is fine but for most of us that doesn't tell us what it actually does. When you use the enclosed hose and nozzle the water stream shoots out about 15 feet with plenty of water volume to get the job done. In my case it's washing the inside of an 18' foot fishing boat and it will easily clean the outside of almost any RV with very good water volume, even for agricultural use.Unless you scroll all the ways to the bottom of the Amazon page you do not see that this is a totally self contained kit. The case makes the entire system portable and when you use it there is no need to take the pump out. You may be able to see on the picture two cutout at the top of the case and one is for the water intake hose, the other for the spaying hose. There is a third cut out for the power cord, which you can't see and the cord is plenty long but it also uses a standard connector so you can purchase an extension cord that will work and don't need to do any splicing.I've used this while the boat is moving at trolling speed and have no issues with water intake. The spray nozzle is adjustable so you can twist the end to go from a full stream to a shower, similar to a normal garden hose nozzle. You can definitely hear the pump but it is not loud enough to hinder normal volume conversations. I also use it in salt water but clean it with fresh water after every use.I highly recommend this washdown unit and would recommend it to a friend without any hesitation.How I rate products:When I give a rating to a product said product automatically starts with four stars as I rarely will purchase anything below four stars.
