This cover was advertised as to fit my ring plus doorbell, but for some reason it blocks motion activity and at night the view is very dark compared to how bright it is with it off. When looking at it the square hole cut out does not obliterate the camera or the infra red sensors. So I have no idea why it makes it not perform with it installed compared to it not being installed.???????

We first tried this on our Ring V2 and were disappointed that it didn't fit, however after slipping it onto the back door's Ring (a Ring Plus), it fit perfectly well. We had hoped that it would be compatible both ways but it does indeed look like the Ring Plus & the Ring V2 are physically different. The sleeve went over the Ring Plus and was quite tight, also giving it more of a 'black-out' look to it which is pretty cool. I'm quite fond of it and it's nice knowing that there is an extra layer of protection between the doorbell & the elements.
