Great protection for your drums at a very affordable price. As much as I love soft cases, I have more peace of mind knowing that if some well intentioned person tries to "help me out" but hauling my drums even when I've said that I prefer being the only person to handle my gear that the drum is actually going to be protected if the fore-mentioned person either drops the case or swings it into a door or wall. And while soft cases are generally more than sufficient if you haul only your gear in your car, if all the band gear is being hauled in a van or truck SKB cases are cheap insurance for your drums just in case something like an amp cabinet shifts in the cargo area and lands on top of your prized drum.
