This scale did just what i needed; helped me cut weight in my backpacking setup. Not very accurate in the low sub 1oz weights but thats not really what its designed for. Works close enough +/- an oz or 2 up well beyond what i would be carrying on my back.

I used these to weigh feed and hay for my horses to make sure they were getting the recommended amount. This was easy to use. Seemed accurate. I thinks it's a great tool at a good price. Batteries have lasted so far.

I needed a scale to determine the weight of my backpack and daypacks loaded with various stuff as well as the weight of some of items. I do not need a super-accurate scaleAccuracy - It seems less accurate then my two table digital scales (also bought on amazon for >$15). Weights are lighter with this scale.Data Lock - rarely works.Handle - if you have normal-sized to larger hands, the handle is smallOther than the issues above, it meets my needs. the readout is easy to see with the backlight, it is easy and fast to use.

I use this to weight military bags for our ruck marches. It ensures we are carrying the proper weight/size bag to conduct training with. So far it has worked perfectly. My wife uses it to weight her bags before we go to the airport, which really reduces us having to unpack bags and repack them in the airport.
