I used this to connect my 5.2 inch atomos shinobi monitor to my gimbal's side handle so it could stick out to the left a bit more. Great item, worth the money, not very heavy (which is exactly what I was hoping for), and everybody should get this. This thing is exactly what I was looking for.

This plate is tiny! I use it as a video assist to mount transmitters, batteries, whatever. Nice build quality

This is a good cheese bar. I found the mounting holes to be properly milled compared to other brands. It works and is cost effective.

Something is acceptable for the transfer quality on a micromono camera. If large SLRs and video cameras can be difficult to secure, But it's enough for my microcomputer to use a transfer recorder. But the packaging of this product is very rudimentary, and previously bought products will have SMALLRIG brand boxes. And this is a transparent bag that affects the brand's image.

I needed this bar in order to elevate the height of my battery plate, it caused many issues in the installation, I needed to buy longer screws to reach through the bar. Only found one type that worked on ebay. Also needed an additional screw half way through to secure the bar because without a third screw it wouldn't tighten enough. I feel as though lining up these 3 metals was impossible and they are all now stripped but whatever I guess the rig is permanently together. At least in the end I achieved my goal.My complaint is that the smaller thread size is off center... why is the large size centered it is the less likely to be used. Doesnt effect usage though just cosmetic

This is exactly what I was looking for! My Canon T7's temperamental connection to my laptop makes it necessary to view photos directly from the memory card. But in order to do so, I have to pull it off the tripod and unscrew the plate, which can take a minute or more if I have to use my fingernail or if my screwdriver rolls away and hides. It doesn't sound like a big deal, but trust me, it adds up. With this cheese plate, I can simply tap the tripod's quick release, pop open the camera's battery compartment, and I'm good to go. It's a brilliant item that is made of very sturdy metal and feels like it will last a long, long time. Brilliant buy!

Exactly what I was looking for to add on to my camera rig. It's the quality I expect from SmallRig, the inclusion of a couple screws is nice, though I'm confused what the black M4 screws are for since they don't fit any of the threads. Not a negative though, extra M4 screws doesn't hurt anything!

product is as advertised, wish it had to extra mounting holes at the two ends of the bar, there seems enough space to git one hole per side/face.

I used this to attach to the bottom of the dash of my Jeep. I used some old holes that were threaded and had an old screw. I pulled the screw, cleaned it up and used to install the cheese bar. The number of threaded holes on the cheese bar gave me options to attach it to the dash. Also, it gave me options to attach the phone holder to the cheese bar. The included bolts worked well with the phone holder. Very happy.
