I am used to using the Klein ones which are pretty nice. Thought these would be the same. They are ok, but fairly flimsy, get what you pay for, but also gets the job done.

Turn plate over place on wall ans make location holes with maker.now joint the markings and you have your template. Also read it on the plate itself worked great
