I use these for a 8 ft light camper. They seem good so far...I haven't been off pavement yet but seem to hold up well. Easy install and heavy gauge material. I'm happy

They have a little lip on the top to make them secure in the hole on your box even before you use the screws to mount them

The product fits inside the stake slots of my 2002 f350. Had to break the spacers off the front. I added metal plates to sandwich the bracket and make it more sturdy. They don’t move when installed properly.

I would like to mention that I never have left a written review on any Amazon product I have purchased over the last 8 years. However, after "installing" this garbage I couldn't go to sleep at night without mentioning the Obvious.I am a red seal tradesman. I've been building for over 15 years and I make all my own repairs on my vehicle as well as many others. The Anchors themselves seem to be of decent quality. That being said, the product came with little to no hardware. I spent three 8 hour days installing this rubbish. The whole process was beyond maddening. They provide you with tiny lag screws for the installation process. After pilot drilling holes and using an impact wrench to attempt to install them, all they did is round out on the steel anchor itself. The anchor is too thick for the lags they supplied. Also at the rear of my truck the body is a bit different so I had to try and figure out something that would work. I went to 3 different hardware stores looking for something I could use to anchor into the hollow area of my truck body. I needed 3 inch self tapping screws, they weren't easy to find in my small town. Eventually I finished the installation after many moments of frustration and swearing.Even now I don't really trust that these anchors will secure my camper. Essentially you are relying on sheet metal with tiny screws to hold your camper down. Please don't make the same mistake I did by buying these. Spend a little extra money and purchase the frame mounted system that installs underneath your vehicle. You won't regret it. I could seriously write a short story about how bad this experience was but I feel like this company has taken enough from me. I don't care to waste any more time talking about their inferior product and lack of installation supplies.TRUST ME HERE, STAY AWAY FROM THIS PRODUCT!!!

Took about two hours to install these once I got the tools rounded up. Be sure to hold the bracket firmly in the stake pocket while drilling to two bolts that go in from the side, you only have one chance to get the holes right. For the side tabs attach the bolt to a set of vice grips and push it up through the holes drilled in the top of the fender and get someone to put the washer and nut from on top. I double nutted them and cut off the excess threads. Used these on a 1500 lb pop-up truck camper mounted on a 2008 Chevy half ton w/ 8' box. They fit snug down into the stake pockets so I did not remove any tabs.

I own a 2008 Toyota Tundra and i looked into ordering a belly bar and rear bumper tie down and they wanted $750.00 for them,so i was talking to someone who suggested googling tie downs..and lo and behold we came across these babies.Very easy to install, they sit in the box inserts (we double nutted them to make it harder to steal them,)and we drove 4800km to the island and back and they did awesome and their was no sway or movement from the camper the whole trip. When your done for the season you can leave them in full time,i do..no storage issues, don't take up room, and they work better than the belly bar in my opinion. si i give them 5 out of 5 stars
