The fit is perfect. I had no pain on my first ride, even though I was already sore from riding my new bike with the terrible seat it came with.

Easy to install and a huge improvement from the seat that came on my bike.

This was a game changer for me! The slightly wider saddle was like night and day compared to the stock saddle that came with my Trek ebike.I wish the rails were a bit longer, but I will just have to suck it up and raise the post higher.Minus 1/4 star for the rail spacing not being the right size for my snap on taillight.

Saddle-sore is caused by a saddle being too hard on your bum, right? That's what I'd assumed when, in lockdown, I took to cycling in earnest (10-12 hrs a week) and started to experience it. My sit-bones, and the flesh around them, were turning into wounds and I was starting to dread the thought of getting on my bike. I was also getting numbness at the front of my pelvic region. I'm not someone who wants to wear padded shorts or bibs, as my cycling is purely for commuting and there's rarely an opportunity to change clothes at the end. I needed to find a quick solution to enable me to continue cycling. In the past I'd occasionally used a gel topper, so bought one of those, and at first it felt like sitting on a cloud, but the numbness didn't go away as there was still a lot of contact between skin and topper. The sores weren't really healing either.Since then I've done a lot (a LOT) of reading about saddles for women, and what can cause soreness. Of course, everyone's anatomy is different but, for me, it became clear that a cutout section would help a lot to ease the front pressure, and I thought I needed a lot of padding to heal my sores. I thus ordered several very soft, "bouncy" saddles to try out, all with cut-away sections in the centre. This Terry Women's Cite X Gel was an after-thought; when it arrived I put it away for a while on the basis that it felt too firm to the touch. It would only be used as a last resort. After a few weeks of riding on the various soft saddles I'd bought, my frustrations were increasing and I didn't see any light at the end of the tunnel; the numbness wasn't as bad, as the cutouts were relieving pressure, but my sit-bone soreness was getting worse.Slowly it has dawned on me that a soft, squidgy saddle isn't ideal for sit-bone health. If your bum is moving whilst you're riding (as a soft saddle will allow), the resulting friction will actually increase soreness. What I realised I would need is a saddle made of high quality materials, with proper support (and not gel "squish"); enter the Terry Women's Cite X Gel. I unpacked this saddle from its packaging, fitted it to my bike and set off on a 2hr ride.At first it felt firm (perhaps too firm) but very soon I realised my sit-bones were sitting correctly and were held in place. They almost felt massaged! As for numbness at the front, this was helped hugely by the cutout section. The shape of the saddle (not too wide at the back) has allowed me to sit a bit higher and allow my thighs to go through their full range of motion; because of this my speed has increased too! After a few weeks of riding, I can honestly say I think I've found "the one". My soreness is healing well despite lots of hours in the saddle, and I can't imagine needing to buy anything different.Five stars!

I use this for a 6-mile round trip commute. It's held up well through the occasional rain shower, and is quite comfortable. I'm glad I bought it. It was easy to put on my bike, also. Definitely worth the cost to not get saddle sore immediately from a unisex saddle!
