Your cart is empty. How to choose the SIM card:

How does it work?
Any time you want to locate the tracker all you have to do is call the SIM phone number or send it a text message.
Once connected the unit it will send you a SMS Text message with a Google Maps link. When this is opened it will give you a location of the unit to within 5 meters anywhere in the world.
Why is the app offline or not enabled?
1.If the application says that the device is not enabled or offline, you must set APN. The operation is simple.
eg:
For the Royers SIM card in Canada, send the following text messages one by one to set the apn
below (there is a space after 123456 )

this is my second tktracker, the first one i have been using for over three years and still working good. therefore I bought second one for the second car. i bought other gps tracker before, it got water damages. this gps trackers works with 2g sim card. Fido in alberta still has 2g service flat fee is 105 plus tax.

This is working fine for me. I am in Canada and am using a new (Aug/2023) Fido SIM card on the minimal prepaid plan. The seller gave me a list of networks that are known to work, and Fido was convenient for me, so I went with them. The Fido store gave me a new phone number and activated the card for me. I then just plugged the SIM card into the tracker and it worked immediately without even needing the device IMEI number.Once it's connected, for instant use you just phone it with a phone that can do text. Note: it does not answer. So it takes a moment for the call to end and you get a recorded message from Fido saying the user is not there. But after Fido hangs up, the tracker texts you back with it's location and other info. Very cool.For actual live tracking, you still need to give it the access point info (APN) using the SMS command sequence in the manual. Then go to the TKSTAR website monitor and login using the ID number on the back of the tracker and enter the default password. Your device should show up on the map instantly. Mine did, and so far it's all working good. This was all done using a regular home PC and web browser. I have not downloaded the smartphone app yet, so I cannot comment on how well that works.Besides basic tracking, there are other SMS commands it understands too, for setting alarms and stuff like that. I have not tried them yet. And I don't know what the battery life will be like yet either. But so far, it tracks just fine which is exactly what I got it for, so I'm really happy with it.

Used this product to track my jetski. It was hidden in a compartment where there could only be a little bit of water going over it. Left my jetski out in the rain only once and water went in. Had to buy another one. The GPS is good but be careful of water, it does not take even a single drop of water...

Battery life is great. Feature and functions of units are really good and easily configured. Support Team is quick to respond and helpful. Have purchased multiple units and not issues so far.

Does mention anywhere that a sim is required, ordered it only to find out I can’t even use it. Returned it.
