I had hoped to receive a solid revolver holster for practice at the range, but the holster is best used as part of a costume rather than a serious range use. The build quality for cosplay is good and convincing and I will put it to use as part of my costume as a gunfighter this coming Halloween.

This gunslinger western style gun belt is an excellent choice for the casual user. If you are a actor or stunt person who needs to wear this every day, then you should look elsewhere, but if you will only wear this a few times a season, then it will be just fine. The belt fit me great, and I'm somewhere between a 34 to a 36 with a low riding gun belt. I adjusted it and set up the leg wrap so it doesn't pull up when you draw. There was plenty of cord, and it is plenty strong, and presents no issues. The only issue I had with the belt was the part where two belts were sewn together, using a cross-hatch pattern on both sides. This join is what will fail first on this belt, but it is something that you can repair when it does. The leather is great quality for the price, thought it will show nicks and scratches pretty easily. I used the holster for that it is designed for: quick draw of a six-shooter. I used two different pistols, one with a four inch barrel, and another with a six inch barrel, and both worked fine, and sat well within the holster. One issue, is that the six inch barrel pistol has raised adjustable sights, and these sights cut into the leather during re-insertion into the holster, and scrape a bit on draw. I included photos of the results of one hundred quick draws, and what it has done to the leather of the holster at the point where the sight rubs against the edge. You can clearly see the leather becoming gouged, so I imagine with another 1,000 draws, it will have notch cut out at that spot. Something to be aware of, but I won't take a star because at the time of ordering, this pistol belt was under $80. What a bargain!Five Star Budge Priced Low Riding Western Style Pistol Rig

When I ordered this TOURBON Leather Pistol Holster, Adjustable Gun Belt, Single Rig Ammo Cartridge Bandolier, I was unsure if it would work for me. So, I took a chance. Unlike other reports, I have found this rig to be beautiful, functional, high quality and just perfect for my needs! A pleasant surprise!It needs to be said that if you are a "working" cowboy, or an everyday user of a gun belt as this, it most likely will not suit your needs. It is made from thinner leather that those professions would require. On the other hand, if you are an occasional user, hunter, this gun belt is for you. I am a vendor at gun shows about once per month. I always wear a pistol on my belt at those events, which amounts to about 30 times per year. I expect with my usage that this rig will last me a lifetime!The gun belt is adjustable up to 48.4”. That is not sufficient for my size. My "hope" is based in having the non-buckle end of the belt re-positioned by removing the rivet and stitching to that end and moving it closer to the buckle end, thus extending the length to 54" or 55". Hopefully you won't have that same problem. I really like the tie down strap to tie the holster to my leg to keep it from moving during hunting or riding. I will use my rig for a Ruger Security Six pistol which has a 4" barrel. As you can see in the pic, it is a great fit and I am totally pleased with that. A word of caution, the holster does not have a retention strap. That being said, you do want to take the necessary precautions when wearing a loaded firearm in the holster in public as it would be quite easy for someone to disarm you before you know it.Some have commented that there are no ammunition calibers that will fit the ammunition belt. I have not found this to be a problem. I am using .38 Special and .357 Magnum cartridges and find the fit to be perfect. (see pic) Having that extra 20 rounds of ammo along on that hunting trip is really a great idea. In summary, I really like my new TOURBON Leather Pistol Holster, Adjustable Gun Belt, Single Rig Ammo Cartridge Bandolier. I need to have the fit modified but once a leather artisan fixes that for me, I look to have a long relationship with this product. I award this product FOUR STARS, but only because the length would have been easy to do in the manufacturing process, making it useful for more end users.

Alright, I really like TOURBON leather products, so far everything I got from them was great. I decided to buy this TOURBON Leather Pistol Holster as I was looking for a reliable, stylish, and functional way to carry my S&W Model 19 pistol during casual outings and occasional hunting trips. I’ve always preferred leather for its classic aesthetic, and the adjustable belt with integrated ammo loops seemed like an excellent choice for extended wear. However, I also knew from reading reviews that this holster might not hold up under heavy-duty use, so I tempered my expectations. Upon unboxing, I was immediately impressed by the design and craftsmanship. The leather was actually quite thick and sturdy, had a polished look and a soft, pliable feel. The holster is removable and ties securely to your leg with a strap to reduce movement - a great feature when you're walking or riding. The open-top design ensures quick access, but the lack of a retention strap for added security could be a concern in crowded environments or when moving through rough terrain. This gun belt is the lowest quality, Look good in the pictures but the leather is paper thin, it has also been extended and has a seam along the belt.
