Easy and simple to hook up. Red LED display is bright and easy to read. I’m counting Hoist Lifts so the prox sensor was much more sensitive than I needed so I connected the controller to a rotary limit switch using terminals 1&2 for the limit switch N/O and terminals 4&5 for the 120v power. Works perfectly!!

Was skeptical at first due to the cost and where I planned on using it, but after running it for over a year in an industrial environment (steel industry) I would highly recommend it as an alternative to manual counting. I have implemented the use of this device for counting steel finished bar leaving one of our cutting machines and it has yet to fail and has been fairly accurate. This is a very simple install (you may have to create your own box depending on location) just power in and power to the sensor from the counting unit. Great value for the cost!

The products (counter and optical sensor) seem well made and it even includes a bracket to mount the sensor. The instruction sheet is in English and is adequate in order to wire the system correctly.The plug on the supplied mains cable did not have much retention in a socket and sometimes did not make contact, but that is a minor issue.I was trying to count the oscillations of a brass pendulum. Whenever the pendulum moved in front of the sensor, the counter increased by 4 or 5 counts or more. I ascribe the problem to the reflective surface of the pendulum, but whatever the reason, this purchase was not right for my application.

Screw in 5 wires, plug it in and it works perfectly. I am very surprised by the accuracy of the unit. It can tell the difference between different sized items. I am excited to tie this into my automation system.
