Simple clean layout. Clear colour pictures. Good skill progression to work towards motivating songs. Most music teachers use the classic Hal Leonard Method book, but this one is much better for keeping a kid motivated to learn.

I have ordered a number of these books for my ukelele students and they have a fun, easy-paced way to learn to play the ukelele. The accompaniment tracks are great and the songs are more contemporary than many other method books.

i prefer the adult version, this one only focus on chords. very little on notes

Great Uke book but it came with much of the print missing. All of the chord slash markings were missing so I had to put them all in myself and since I had ordered 8 books it took several hours to do it. Very disappointed!!

Got this for my six year old daughter in conjunction with her ukulele lessons. The instructor uses this book as a guide and it's really simple to use. She uses this now to practice and it really helps. Good first book.

This book was recommended by my daughters ukulele teacher as a beginner book. It’s been amazing. I love that there is a website to go to so you can hear the song being played. That’s so helpful for me as a parent who can’t read music well and not knowing what it should sound like. It’s also helpful you can play the music at different speeds for practice purposes. Love this book.

Nicely laid out and a fairly good resource for my students. There seems like a big jump in difficulty half way through though which some struggle with!

Although the book itself if what I wanted. I also wanted the CD advertised with the book, butthere is no CD with mine. The person I bought it for does not own a computer so cannot accessthe audio included with the book. I am disappointed with the product.

My granddaughter is learning to play her new Uke using the Leonard method with her dad! They are so excited at how quickly they are able to play songs! The step by step instructions are easy to follow even by young readers!
