These bearings consist of an inner ring (cone), an outer ring (cup), a cage and rollers.
The inner ring with roller and cage assembly (cone) can be mounted separately from the outer ring (cup).
The separable components are interchangeable, which facilitate mounting, dismounting and also maintenance inspection routines.
This single tapered roller bearing is for use in high-load, moderate-speed applications that include conveyor systems.

I am using these as the bearings of a rotary axis of a CNC machine that can machine wood, plastics and soft metals like aluminum. While these bearings were probably never meant to be used this way, they work fine without any noticeable play or irregularity. I would buy them again.
