Short antennas will not perform as well as longer antennas. The trade off is using a car wash that you can run your car through and not have to worry about your antenna. I lost about 20 extra miles of reception with this antenna. This is no big deal because it still reaches out about 40 miles with no problem.When you replace the stock antenna, there will be corrosion on the threads in the base.Simply remove that corrosion by using a little lube on the treads of your new antenna. Just don’t use dielectric grease.I think people install the new antenna and don’t account for the corrosion on the base threads and don’t get a good connection when installing the new one in the base.

Cette antenne est n’importe quoi , je vie dans une ville et elle ne capte rien du tout .et pour 20$, me déplacer pour un remboursement encore plus fâchant, disons un autre produit qui vient surment de la Chine non tester ici , et ont nous vend ça .... donc j’ai perdu mon argent,
