This design offers no way to clamp or bolt to the desktop. It was fine with one monitor center and low. Add monitors high and to the side and it's easy to knock out of balance.Even not considering the danger it's not good for use against a wall because the arm elbows can't go back to help tighten the space between monitors. Also the side monitor mounts uses different mount plates than the center mounts. The user didn't notice this and the monitor was only held in place by one securing screw.

When I make a purchase, I read most 1 and 5 star review, as well as look at the photos. I had doubts, but decided to give this a go because I needed to mount 4 monitors but with a freestanding stand due to the back of my desk being solid. I can see there can be a balance issue, especially if you don't have all the same size monitors. However, since I wanted one of my monitors vertical, the bottom sits on the desk and provides stability. The issue I'm most frustrated with, and why I only gave this product 3 stars, is because my main monitor, which is 32", fell forward after a few weeks. I could not tighten it to save my life! One of my side monitors also fell forward, but it was easier to tighten back up. Finally, I started looking through the reviews again and saw where someone used zip ties to pull the monitor back, and upright. I tried this, and although it was a bit difficult, it actually worked!Bottom line is this... if you can afford better, get something else. For the price I paid for this monitor stand, I should not have to be using zip ties to keep my monitors from tilting forward.

A good mount, large and stable enough. Just make sure you're smart about monitor placement. The screws it comes with for mounting Curved monitors are very long and didn't screw in all the way without some extra spacers. Cable management seems good but I would need longer cables to utilize it as its on a standing desk (which is why I went with a free standing as opposed to clamp mounted) I do recommend going for a clamp mounted stand if you are able as you do need to be careful how far your extending the monitors but its stability is better than I expected based off other reviews.

This stand is great. Well built, heavy duty and sturdy. At this price point I don't know how you could get any better at this price point. I have a high end Planar triple monitor stand my company bought for me when I was working at home and this is every bit as good. It's not something you can constantly do back and forth adjustments on. I had my wife help me get everything aligned so that I could lock it down once everything was in a position we could use, (she uses my computer a lot instead of booting hers up). Can you get better? Yes, but if you want to pay nearly $500 for a top of the line Ergotron be my guest. I've owned an Ergotron and to me this is every bit as good, except it is not as easy to make adjustments too. Some have mentioned that it is unstable, is it rock solid? No, but I'm not afraid of it being knocked over. That being said I don't have small children or large dogs to worry about, (For my young nieces and nephews uncles' office is a prohibited zone). That being said you do have to balance it, like you would with any stand. The only complaint I have is the screw holes didn't seem to be very well threaded, but I was able to make it work. Someone also mentioned that the left and right monitor arms sag. I saw this as well, but once I tightened down the arms and the acorn nuts holding the left and right monitors on, it straightened right up. The cable management is nothing to write home about, but my more expensive Planar systems stand didn't even have that, I was using velcro to hold cables to the arms. I have a total of 4 monitors attached an HP 25 inch flat panel, a 27 inch Samsung curved as the center monitor and two 24 inch Samsung monitors on the left and right. Hope this helps someone who is on the fence

Kit comes very well packaged, with extremely easy to follow directions. You may end up setting it up multiple times, trying to get the right setup you're looking for. Once you do though, the design is very sturdy. Currently have a 32 inch curved monitor and 3 x 27 inch flat screen monitors without any worry of tipping. 5 Stars! Hope you find this review helpful! Easy to use - nice and sturdy!

If you are going to put 4 27's on this Mount buy a fixed mounting, do not buy this freestanding. My monitors are literally falling to my body when I setting up because of the unstable freestanding design. At the end of the day, I have to drill holes and bolt the pole with the desk to get it to work.

Post mounting holes are off center. Extremely disappointing for an otherwise solid stand.
