Got this as am emergency phone for our land line so the kids can call out if they need to but we can't get this to work. It has literally never been able to make an outbound call. It is properly connected, spam callers get through everyday.

Phone easily pairs with your cellphone. I purchased this for my elderly father who has difficulty understanding how to operate a smartphone. Decent quality and the sound appears to be clear. Too soon to comment on the longevity and operation of this product, thus the reason for my 3 star review at this time.

When setting up the phone for Bluetooth to a cell phone, keep in mind it overrides your cell, and you cellphone gets confused.I found the best way to use it was to turn off your cell when at home.It is the same issue you might have if you are using headphones to your cellphone. It gets confused as to where you talk.It is a solid phone, and I tested it by tossing it into the bathtub. (it worked great after drying it off with a simple paper towel)So: Simple answer. Turn off your cellphone when at home. (Or do not use the Bluetooth option)

I use this for business so the huge address book is a welcome advantage. It also has a number block to eliminate the nuisances. Range is excellent with no noise. Also has a belt hook and rubber sides for a no slip grip. Only thing I didn't like is the wall mount, not really tight enough.

Water proof, beefy, nice cell relay feature. Bought this for my 92 year old father in a home; easy for hime to use, “bio proof” easy to see; its still working after 3months!

As another reviewer mentioned, Vtech does not have the greatest track record. But this Vtech phone works flawlessly. It is: Crystal clear, Has a large Lcd display, loudspeaker in rear, Can have 2 cell phones linked to it, and its Water proof! My only negative comment is the battery life is between 4-6 days depending on usage, So I gave it 4 stars for battery life and 5 stars for everything else
