feels sturdy, wish it was just a smidge longer than it is, very tall people might want to consider getting something longer. There's also not much leg room to get your shins underneath the leg cushions.

I bought this to do sit ups on. I will admit it is hard to get my legs behind the bars (perhaps I need to loose more weight first) but it is a quality bench and is adjustable. Sturdy and solid. Happy with my purchase!

It’s ok. Looks like it’s good material and it’s solidly built. However, it doesn’t go completely horizontally (unless you lift the back “foot rest” up 18”) and the back rear is kind of wobbly. I guess it’s ok for $100 but I was expecting something a bit more solid.

The mechanism that controls the incline or decline of the bench is only held in by a small pin that does not stay in place that well, it was cheap and easy to assemble so you get what you pay for.

Just assembled it last night. Took me 1 hour. Came out great my son and wife love it. They tried this morning, and they gave a 2 thumbs up. Can't go wrong for this price.

Great bench, materials seem to be good. The bench is easy to assemble as long as you have a 11/16th socket and a wrench to hold the other end of the bolts. Would be much easier to assemble with 2 people but it can be done with 1 if you have things to lean it against. All the parts were tightly sealed and clearly labeled. Instructions were very clear with the minor caveat that the hole for the catchbolt in Step 8's inset is located in a different place but the correct location is obvious on the actual equipment. Came with a decent poster with some workouts, a link to watch some videos of workouts(that aren't bad if you're a beginner) and some basic workout tips in the back of the manual. Weider had the extra space and added useful information, little touches like this always go a long way for me. Tested it up to 50lbs of the weight capacity without issue, I'll be able to judge further in a few months once I can get more weight.

I’ve had this item a few years now. I’ve used it a lot, it was cheaper for an adjustable bench but it’s just been a really good investment. At my heaviest it probably held me at 270 plus another 70lns in weights, so it can hold a fair amount. I’ve had no issues with it breaking or anything. The leg pads and padding in the bench itself aren’t the best but they’re fully functional and they don’t seem to be wearing out or degrading in a noticeable way even several years of use later.Pros:1. Handles my weight and my weights easy.2. Adjustment is really simple, takes seconds to convert from incline to decline and everything between.3. The added leg holders make abs possible at a decline which is solid exercise and an building for a workout bench.4. Durable, I’ve used it for years for a while when I was unemployed 3-4 hours a day. It’s going strong with no rips or frays.Cons:1. It’s Nots not very padded but that’s a small price to pay for the rest of its strengths

This bench is great! I wanted it because it folds down straight! Where others have straight seat then backrest folds down at different angle! Great for incline press as you are wedged in the seat and good for full abdominal crunch. Metal is thick enough. Instructions were good. Fasteners had nylock nuts and were painted black. Very easy to lift and bring to basement or other rooms. Can't believe the price. This is all you need... Plus a couple bars and dumbells. Great for high volume... Lighter weight.... I am 240 and used 100 barbell... Probably could do 200... If you had a way to rack the weight! The angle adjustor pin needs some wiggling of backrest when inserting! One last thing. The upper leg support is not wide enough for a man to crunch with. I modified mine with wider pole and removable for when I strickly do bench work.

The pieces to the bench are poorly made, some pieces for me were bent out of place. When I change the position, the piece that you move to change the incline scrapes against the metal piece acting as a saw and scratching it. Also, the pin you use to lock the position has a string that is suppose to be screwed into the base, but there was no hole to put the screw into. However, these problems only made it harder to put together, and didn't effect the usage at all. The pin string that is made so the pin dosnt get lost I have just taped to the base, and it is fine. The curved position changing piece scraping the side is okay because it is still easy to move and the scraping will eventually stop once I break it in, and it is not offset enough to saw through the base enough to cause danger. The back is wobbly if you leave the bolt that holds the back into the base loose like the directions tell you to, but do NOT listen to the directions here, and tighten the bolt so that it is secure, and the back should move just fine, with no risk of it wobbling if you leave it loose like the directions advise. The plastic caps that go on the side of the foam leg pads have to be hammered into place with something that is very gentle because one hit onto one of the plastic caps and I broke one. However these caps don't effect performance so I'm okay with it. Just be gentle while putting them in. Free poster explaining how to do 18 excersizes with pictures! Very nice seat and back. Be sure you have a wrench and some tool to hold the back of the bolt while tightening the nut! These two tools are very very reccomended to tighten each bolt safely and securely. Aside from some manufacturing errors, yours may be different but if not once it is built it works very good. 3.85 stars.

If you are looking for a professional gym grade weight bench this is not for you. This bench is lightweight and inexpensive, so when it arrived I was pleasantly surprised to find that the quality of the product is quite good' much better than I expected actually. Except for the cushions it's made of a good grade of precision machined powder coated steel. Assembling the bench was easy, it bolts together with Nylock nuts that will not loosen,and the instructions where simple. Once assembled the bench is quite sturdy, stable, comfortable and easy to adjust. .The bottom line; is this is a very decent home gym weight bench and at $80 CDN. a great value.
