We used this for our shower niche and it worked well. The adhesion for this application was probably not sufficient, so we put it down with silicone.

I ordered these because I am a renter. They look really nice and are easy to pull up and install. Just make sure you cut everything correctly or there will be gaps. Great purchase though.
