Not as sturdy as the original manufacturer’s version. Be careful disassembling not to over-flex. The ferrules that join the support rods can snap - one did for us.

Likely a knock off of an expensive product out there, but there is a trade off to pay for the cheaper price tag. Once assemble it will skew out of square, and you need to keep an eye on the fabric to prevent damage.Good if you’re going to be camping on the same spot for a few days, if you’re on the move I would use a pad for a lighter/faster camp set-up.Pros:Light weight and compact. Will put you off the ground.More confortable than a pad.Cons:Assembly might not be straight forward for everybody.Fabric skewed under tension, and might not provide enough support for heavy people.Fabric might start ripping on the small cut-outs where the green brackets get attached (using a lighter can fix the damage but be careful as it’s flammable material).

I bought two of these three years ago. My wife and I used them for the first two years and this summer my kids used them, 10-20 days per summer per cot. I'm 185 lbs and everyone else is much lighter. It's a knockoff of a Thermarest Mesh Cot. The design is great but the quality is poor. You get what you pay for I guess. The poles are bent way out of shape but they still work. It just makes assembly that much harder. I've gotten good at it but it still takes upwards of five minutes per cot and a lot of muscle to assemble. I haven't snapped a pole yet but I won't be surprised if I do.The biggest quality problem though is that the fabric was stitched crooked. On both cots the holes don't line up on either side. If you assemble it using the pre-cut holes, it creates a lateral force so the poles slide apart overnight and the whole thing collapses. The brackets have to be at exactly 90 degrees to the poles otherwise it will come apart. It took a lot of troubleshooting to figure this out and re-assembling this thing in the middle of the night is not fun. I've made my own holes by now just by tearing up the fabric during assembly, putting the brackets in random places and letting them cut the fabric, etc. The fabric is a mess but it still works.Despite all this, the cot is incredibly comfortable, way better than any air mattress I've ever slept on. Maybe it's ridiculous but I put up with all the problems just because of how well I sleep on it. My wife doesn't really like it though. We're on a big air mattress now since we've been car camping lately but the kids love these cots. At some point I'll probably spring for a Thermarest Ultralight. I love the design so I'm comfortable paying more for some better quality.

Some of the pole was bend. Very hard to set up without force the pole. The weight of set not good for back pack camping. Not good quality product. This camping cot is not for everyone. The tiny pole very easy to bend. Don't waste money.

I purchased 3 of these for my family to use for a week long camping trip we're planning for this summer. When they arrived, we set them up to make sure we were familiar with the process before we needed them. The first pair of poles snapped as soon as I put light pressure on them to snap them into place. One of the brackets broke when we snapped it onto the frame and one of the poles bent as well. This was all from one set. The other 2 cots were just fine. They are quite comfy - a big upgrade from the camping pads we've been using.

These cots completely changed my camping experience - I get a great night's sleep almost equal to the comfort of my bed at home. I use an inflatable mattress pad on top of the cot.I hiked in to a remote camping spot with them last week - they fit in my smallish tent and two cots side by side allow the occupants to snuggle.

Good product. Goes together easily and is small and compact. I did bend one aluminum pole assembling it, but this hasn't made a difference. Still holds together and supports my weight. I am 165 lb. A heavier person might be too much for this cot, but for me it works very well. I combined this with the Klymit Static V lightweight sleeping pad and It is extremely comfortable, the cot offers good support so I air down the sleeping pad a bit to make it a little more cushy and I think it's actually better than my regular bed. I will be taking this on a month long journey where it will be assembled and disassembled every day while I travel. If there are any durability issues I will post another review but I do not anticipate there will be any. This is a solid product.

I felt like I was sleeping in my bed at home. It was extremely comfortable. I have recommended it to everyone! The only issue was that some of the poles bent over the 3 nights, and I am not a big person (125lbs). The company was gracious in replacing them however. Also, Getting the hang of setting it up is tricky. Once you figure it out though, it's really easy. Can't recommend this enough.

I bought two of these, and after using them for a couple backpacking trips bought two more.Pros: They are lightweight. They are relatively simple to set up. They pack down fairly small.Cons: The aluminum rods just aren't sturdy enough -most of mine are slightly bent after using the cots over the course of four three- to four-day backpacking trips. When assembling, the crossbars tend to slip out of the plastic feet, leading to bent crossbars or bent feet. You will need to find a fairly flat piece of ground to put these on as they aren't adjustable at all. They can be a little tricky to dis-assemble.All in all, I am fairly happy with these, especially because they are so light weight and it makes it possible for me to continue backpacking without having to schedule a trip to the chiropractor each time. I just wish they were a little more durable.

The product is very compact and lightweight, however, very poor quality support beams. My daughter slept on it for two nights and bent three pairs of support beams underneath. My daughter said it was really easy to take apart and put back in the bag making it very portable. the product did not come with any directions on how to put it together. once I figured it out it went together fairly easy, however, it is a bit difficult to get the first couple cross beams onto the cot. I may look to a different company to buy more sturdier cross beans to replace the bent ones.

I bought this for my upcoming camping trip with /for my 9 year old. I got it for her for comfort as she doesn't like sleeping on hard surfaces (she weighs 55lb). We assembled it at home to test it out... following the Instructions to assemble were understandable - Lots of moving pieces. Strenuous to assemble. Taking it apart was even harder since the poles have settled in place. We used only the single poles and did not use the double support twist option. After disassembling, some of the poles were left bent. This problem was also a complaint with some other product reviewers but I still decided to take a chance with it. I don't fully regret it as I think it will still suffice for at least a few camping trips specifically for the 9 year old. But for longer term use I would not recommend this product. It is lightweight as stated and has a nice carry bag for everything so it packs very nicely in it's bag which I do like. We could even remove more of the unused poles for lighter transport, but we are car camping and not backpacking .... Over all I would rate this 3 out of 5 stars.

You getting what you pay for in this situation. It's not a bad cot but it is by no means a very high quality cot. I highly recommend you use this with a sleeping pad because me at 150 lb is almost touching the floor when I lay down. The poles are going to bend it's inevitable I would look into replacing the poles with a higher grade of aluminum but other than that it's not bad.
