So I previously had had one of these that actually could charge up, but I found it didn’t last very long and it had some issues lately connecting to my tires and not allowing air out.Was pleasantly surprised to get this item through the vine program and it does not charge up it comes with two options you can plug-in as I did many months ago when I was trying to fill up a pool float pictures are shown and it also plugged into my trunk, cigarette lighter And the cord was long enough to allow me to inflate all four tires coming from the back of my Mazda CX five .It is now going to sit in my car as I do lots of travel. I found it worked easily and seamlessly, and I did enjoy the fact that it auto shuts off when it gets to a certain psi.It comes with other attachments, one of which I used to loosely blow up the pool pool float because otherwise I’m not sure I would’ve been able to blow it up without passing out.I found it easy and intuitive to use and I’m very happy to add this to my trunk when I travel.

I got this inflator for the purpose of filling bicycle tires. My car comes with a car tire inflator in my car instead of a spare, but I didn’t want to have to turn on my car and lug the whole thing out to plug it into my cigarette lighter. That car tire inflator is also loud and heavy and takes forever. So I am really happy to report that this inflator is so much better than the one I have! It comes with a very long charging cord that I can just plug into the wall, or car it’s a lot quieter, and comes with several tips and even a fuse. I love that the settings are so easy and that common PSI’s are printed on a sticker on the device itself. It is about half the size of my other inflator and about half as quiet. It is easy to turn on and set the PSI you want. It also clips into the tire stem of my bike and car without having to twist it on. I just put it on the mouth of the valve and press the little spigot type thing to “lock it” into place. Then I select the PSI I want and it auto shuts off when it gets to the PSI I selected. It always over inflates by 2 PSI, then slowly deflates to the set PSI then stops. Super easy to use. I highly recommend.

I'LL POST A VIDEO REVIEW THIS WEEKEND!FOR THE PRICE POINT, THIS SHOULD BE A MUCH FASTER AIRFLOW TO THE TIRES.WHY IS THIS NOT RECHARGEABLE FOR A CAR OR TRUCK? MAKES NO SENSE.

This is a really great tire inflator. It will work either using a cigarette-lighter style plug in your car, or else you can plug it into a wall socket. It comes with two separate cords for this purpose. I also really like that the inflator cord uses a quick connect clamp system (like the ones usually found on bicycle pumps) to attach both to the pump and to the tire. It is really challenging to screw on an inflator when your hands are cold, the threads are not completely clean and you want to be done as quickly as possible so that you don't end up letting more air out of the tire than you put in. The clamp makes this very easy and very quick. The inflator itself isn't as fast as one that uses a big compressor like the one at service station, but it is reasonably efficient. It took no more than about 2 minutes per tire to add approximately 6 psi to each tire on my car. The unit is pretty intuitive to use. You just check to see what PSI you should be using, set that and then the inflator will stop when it reaches that pressure. The pump has an automated selection for this, but since cars tires do not all recommend the same level of inflation (my Camry tires are 35 psi, my friend's CHR are 33 psi), I always check and set the inflation for what is recommended. Since running on tires that are improperly inflated affects tire life, gas mileage and - most importantly - safe handling, I always have one of these in my car. If they look low, feel low or the low tire pressure light comes on I immediately address it. This unit makes it easy to take care of.
