Pumps works BUT it's very low volume and low pressure. Barely enough volume to shower. Will not buy again and replacing it this weekend with a name brand

I really like the fact that this water pump is shipped with lots of adapters and fittings. It even comes with a set of alligator clamps to hook it to a battery. I did some testing on this pump to collect some data on it. The water was supplied from a 275 gallon super-tote, and connections were made using the fittings included in the kit and some potable water hoses. The pump performed perfectly through all of my testing. It turned on and off at the expected times and provided plenty of water pressure. I connected a 10 foot hose to the outlet of the pump with a regular hose nozzle on it, and the pump was able to spray a stream of water about 15 or 20 feet through the hose nozzle. The water pressure gauge that I connected showed a maximum of about 50 PSI, but I suspect that a few pounds of that pressure reading was really overshoot of the recording needle when the hose nozzle was abruptly closed. I think the actual maximum pressure is about 45 PSI as advertised.I used a clamp-on ammeter to measure the current draw of the pump. The ammeter was properly zeroed and has been proven to be accurate in other tests. I was using a 12 volt AGM deep cycle battery to power the pump for these tests. With the pump running and the hose nozzle wide open (resulting in minimum back pressure), I consistently saw current readings of about 6.7 Amps. The Amazon ad copy has a photo showing that the "AMPS = 0.5A". That number is obviously an error. The label on the pump itself lists the Amps as 4.6 Amps. I never saw a reading that low while the pump was running. If I restricted the water flow by partially releasing the handle on the hose nozzle so that the water spray was a fine fan pattern (maximum back pressure), the current reading would go up to about 10.4 Amps while teh water pressure would show between 40 and 45 PSI. The pump shuts off at 45 PSI. 10.4 Amps is the highest current reading that I observed during this testing. The significantly higher than advertised current flow is the only negative comment that I have about this pump. Other than that, the pump performed flawlessly. The noise level is comparable to other similar pumps that I have tested. The pump does not cycle on and off excessively like another pump that I tested. All in all, a good solid piece of equipment.

Installed it today on my cruiser. Easy to install, works as advertised and I’m pleased with how quiet it is. Hopefully it will provide many years of service. The price was superior to other , more well known brands.

This pump feels solid with good amount of electrical windings. It's very quiet when mounted to 2x4 blocks. I can barely hear it running in the box. It would be perfect for a RV, van, or motorhome. Just add a switch.I added this as a 12volt backup pump as my 120 vac system pulls to much power. It installed and functions nicely beside the jet pump with No leaks. In it's setup I have it drawing suction through the Jet pump while it's off , it's able to draw suction from a tank 10 feet away that has about 2psi of head pressureThe wiring looks to be 12 Awg steel stranded. The auto shutoff kicked off at 48-50 psi when it's rated for 45 might need slight adjustment . Once the air is bleed out it does shut off automatically , and then back on at about 38 psi .The pressure is great , I have a 4 gallon pressure tank and it almost has as much flowel and pressure as my jet pump in the shower. No dripping sprayers, I had to turn the flow down in the shower as the pressure was to high. Wasn't expecting that from a 12 volt pump.
