Got this gable vent for our shed and it looks amazing! The install was pretty simple— we did end up having to trim one side, but that was easy enough with our lawn scissors; otherwise, it fit nicely. After caulking the sides, we were very pleased with the look. This gable is definitely worth the price.

This functional gable vent was the perfect upgrade to our smaller less efficient gable vent. This is almost twice the size of our old vent and allows a lot more air to move through it. The vent has a good color to it that already matches the original, so there was no need for us to worry about painting it. The vent has screens built into the openings that prevents bugs from getting in. These screens have a finer mesh that does a great job of keeping out wasps, flies, etc…

This thing is heavy duty and built with quality materials. It was easy to install and compatible with siding. Works as expected.

This review is for the 17x23" functional gable vent, at a price of $64.99.I obtained this to use on a vent opening when I install vinyl siding on one of my house gables. This vent consists of a two-piece construction and appears to be made from PVC. The front and rear vent halves securely interlock, but can still be detached when necessary. The rear vent half is used for mounting and has an integrated "mesh" to block insects. The front vent half has angled slats to prevent water ingress into the attic. The molding of the cable vent appears thick and durable. The ventilation area measures about 10.5 x 16.25 inches.Overall, I am very pleased with how this is constructed and I may end up buying more of them.
