Please note when installing
- Disconnect the water heater from all power sources and water supplies.
- Turn on the hot water faucet, release the pressure in the water tank, and wait for all the water in the water tank to drain.
- Remove the burner assembly tube.
- Remove the screws from the heating element cover and remove it.
- Use a Phillips screwdriver to unscrew the wiring from the heater element.
- Use water heater elements.

I installed two of these heating elements in my on demand water heater. These elements were rated correctly, and I made sure, but after installation, there was a serious leak and it destroyed my electrical control for my water heater, and I had to get the entire water heater replaced. The reason why this happened was because the gasket that comes with this heating element does not seat well inside the receiving tube off the hot water heater and will eventually cost a leak.And this leak wound up destroying my electronic control. These elements may be cheap, but they're not worth it.Buyer beware

We had the heater elements replaced by a Master Plumber. He had no complaints, and the parts for the ECOSMART 27V tankless water heater. My plumber recommends replacing the parts every 3 yrs, because of the hard water in the county.I plan to buy more in the near future.
