These look great but the adhesive I bought did not hold them. They need to offer a quality rubber cement or at least a suggested type of glue.

I trimmed these with a grinder i have i garage,,,they r fairly thick,,,but worked great on my boots.

I got these for my Wolverine thousand mile boots. They have the "classic" rubber sole but it didn't provide enough traction in mud and snow. I also wanted a sacrificial layer over my welted soles that I could easily replace myself once they wear out, without having to send the boots to a cobbler to be re-soled.The trick to installing them is to sand the rubber contact surfaces thoroughly with a 60 grit orbital sander, then use Barge rubber cement to bond the sole to the boot. I did this and they have been rock solid so far, having withstood several months of hard work and hiking. The soles are low profile and easy to cut with a sturdy pair of scissors, which is a plus. However they do run small, so if you have feet bigger than around a men's size 9 or 10 they might not fit.
