It's flexible, expands from 8 to 18 inches, and it's supposed to direct water away from your house. Sounds straightforward, right? But let's get into it. On the plus side, it bends and holds its shape well. It's like the yoga master of downspouts. Easy to install, doesn't require a PhD in gutterology. But the cons? It's a bit flimsy and might not last through a harsh winter. It's plastic, so don't expect it to take a beating like a heavyweight champ. For a quick fix or a simple job, it'll do. Just don't expect miracles.**Additional Notes:** *Attach with sheet metal screws for best results. Screws not included.***I gave this a 3 out of 5 because it's functional but not particularly durable. It's good for a temporary or light-duty solution, but might not hold up under tough conditions.*

The item is very cheap, and it's it's very small. So it's very good at replacing an elbow piece for drainage if that's your goal.It's sturdy, well built and flexible. No complaints.

Fits 2x3 downspout and easy to expand/retract.This flexible plastic extensions is easier to work with and more flexible than aluminum pieces, but doesn't look as good.These are hard to find locally in brown colour, glad to find it here.

Don't bother. This flexible elbow is very difficult to use and does not fit well into the eavestrough pipe. I threw them away after stomping on them. The much better solution is to use a solid elbow available at the time of this writing on Amazon or any hardware store. I ended up using a solid 45 degree plastic elbow that I could screw to the eavestrough down pipe.
