Purchased this just over a year ago. After a whole year of daily use, (about 4hrs a day), and weekly recharges, the light itself has died. The battery is still in great shape tho, so that's a plus. I'm very happy with how bright it is, he light levels, and it's consistent performance. It has been used outdoors in a construction environment through sun, rain, snow and ice. Loved this lamp and just bought the exact same one to replace this one. For 30$, you cannot find a better headlamp, even at 2x the price.

This headlamp has a great rechargeable Lithium battery and comes with USB C charging cable (short).USB C charging port is convenient to quickly charge or you can manually charge the battery or replace it should you wish with a higher mAh battery. Solid and sturdy body.

This headlamp is great, it's bright, it's got selectable brightness, it's got a 18650 battery at 3000mha so even if the battery goes dead you can simply have a few more charged ones on hand to swap out and you have a light again with hardly any down time. The red LED is a nice feature to have at times, but I hardly ever need it. The one major flaw that the light has for me, (as with most cheaper lamps) is that you have to select through 5 different modes (multiple button presses) to get to the mode you want. So for instance, if you want the lowest brightness, you have to push 3x, and then to turn it off is another 3x. For the brightest setting, it's only 1x for on, then off is another 5x. This is supper annoying if you're conserving your battery and powering up and down multiple times. I have another headlamp (more expensive) that is one press on, and another off, with it being infinitely variable brightness in between, however at the price point, this one is excellent and I would very much recommend it to people bearing in mind the multiple presses drawback.

I purchased a second one because my first one was taken. This light lasts all day and it is tough. I've dropped mine off a 30' lift and it still worked. However I had to add some tie wraps to keep it clipped to the band.I recommend buying extra batteries to go with it.

Using head torches upto 12hrs a day this is by far the best I've used over years .Solid ally housing making it pretty bomb proof .it has a long strap fixing at torch housing which spreads the load on head making it really comfortable over long periods.and battery lasts ages I've got a spare battery always charged and swapping out is quick .Great head torch excellent design.dont waste money on named brands I've used them all this beats the lot highly recommend

I liked the first light so much, I ordered a 2nd. These work exactly as advertised, and have great battery life, in excess of an hour outside at 0 C, on the highest power setting. The beam spread is fairly wide, making these ideal as a close up work light with excellent illumination. They use two P9 Osram LED chips for the white light, which should be capable of 1200 lumens or so on high, depending on how you measure. Because the beam spread is fairly wide, the use of this light as a secondary helmet light for MTB trail riding will get you out of trouble as a backup, but a more narrow spot beam would work better.The red LED option is perfect for loading at night etc. so you're not blinding folks around you, while preserving your night vision.The light is not heavy, and therefore not really noticeable on a bike helmet.

Love this headlight, had to do ton of searching before making a purchase, i use this on a daily basis and charge holds up pretty well for what i do (plumbing) nice 3 different lights low med high are all good.I put this on my hard hat at work and loving it so far, make sure you get clamps if you plan to use on hard hat.
