Bought this just to mark network equipment in my network rack, now i use it to label literally everything I own. It prints pretty fast and it has alot of ink. Its pretty robust but, try not to drop it. The function of changing to numbers and special characters gets weird but you get used to it.

This gadget works great. Love that you can change the font in multiple ways, the label tape is easy to peel and adheres well. The button cuts it cleanly. Everything in my house is now labelled (spellcheck not included hah). I mostly wanted it to quickly label all the kids books, pens, school stuff, etc. I stuck it on everyone's headsets and chargers so we know whose is whose. Lots of redundant things like labelling the coffeemaker, the fridge, and water cooler. It'd be a good way to learn another language if you labelled everyday stuff as such, but alas my kids just did it for giggles.

It's a quality Brother product. Inserting the tape and batteries was easy and I like having the QWERTY keypad on the labeler and not on a phone. Just note that it takes alkaline batteries. I put ni-mh rechargeable batteries in mine and got a low battery warning after the first two prints.

this product is AMAZING it works perfectly it comes with some tape to use but I would recommend buying extra but overall amazing.

This is just the perfect tool for the office or home.It is simple to use if you are just typing and printing basic labels.It does have a ton of extra functions like adding borders, designs, symbols, bold, italic, vertical font etc. I would suggest keeping the manual for reference for these features.Putting the tape in was a little tricky, under the back cover, but once it was fed in correctly, it ran smoothly.As for all the reviews mentioning weak battery life, here is my take.This uses a motor. It will naturally demand lots of electricity/battery power. Invest in good quality, high drain rechargeable batteries and you would have no reason to complain. I use NiMH batteries with this and they serve me just fine.I would recommend this to anyone who needs a label maker.

Despite all the bad reviews by people who say the batteries only last minutes, this product works. The battery issue is in the software in the device that reads the battery voltage and determines if it is ok or not. This software is faulty, resulting in this product giving wrong "Replace Battery" warnings, especially when you print longer labels. JUST IGNORE THEM! Hit the backspace [It would be 5 star but for the inconvenience of the non functional battery monitor.MG
