recently became caregiver for my 77 y.o. mother with onset of dementia. i have tested this in several rooms of the home and it works perfectly. however, i think it's very important to realize that this isn't quite magic. if the dementia has progressed far enough.. your loved one may not have the capacity anymore to learn and Know when to push the button on the watch. i even used a label maker and put "HELP" across the SOS face of the watch, and thus far (been a week) she has failed to catch on of when or how to use it. great concept, and i hope through gentle reminders she will eventually start to use it, but i am very doubtful, dementia is such a sad, horrible condition.**UPDATE*** well after having this a week, sadly she has apparently lost the watch somehow. not sure how the lanyard thing will work but im exploring possibility of getting a LOCKING airtag holder to attach to the lanyard. that way when she puts it somewhere and can't find it, we have the ability to at least find it. i feel so defeated and alone in this journey. literally EVERYTHING we are trying to help her..and keep her safe isn't working either due to her misplacing the equipment, or simply not having enough cognitive ability to grasp what to do if she needs help. i could buy the best system in the world and it's not going to amount to anything if she loses or forgets how to use the equipment. this journey isn't for the faint of heart folks. it's sad, depressing, and incredibly frustrating.

This call station is simple to use, plug and play and ready to go out of the box. Batteries are already installed and the receiver just plugs in to an outlet. We use an extension cord to allow placement of the receiver where it can be seen. The call buttons have a range larger than my property so coverage is excellent for us.Observation: when button 1 is pressed, receiver announces 1 and blinks for ~ 5 minutes then turns off. If another button is pressed before 1 stops blinking, number 1 goes off, then the new alert is announced and blinks for ~ 5 minutes. In our situation, if 1 was not answered before 2 makes a call, then one could get missed when the attendant sees only 2 blinking.Similarly if attendant has gone to service 1 because it's blinking, then other attendants returning to the station will see 1 still blinking and will go attend to 1 as well - possibly missing a new call request from 3 for example.I have reached out to support asking if a manual exists that describes how to reduce time out, or how to cancel a call, or how to keep simultaneous or non-timed-out calls requests.A simpler scenario is reserve this call annunciation system for panic alerts in washrooms, hallways, common rooms.Or to indicate progress of walk about rounds where the attendant or security watch presses a call button to indicate current location on the property. In which case a longer time-out or persistent indication may be required to indicate last know patrol location.

This caregiver call system is a practical and user-friendly solution for home or clinical care. The setup is quick—just plug in the receiver and stick the wireless buttons where needed. The 500-ft range is great for multi-level homes or small facilities, and the LED display helps identify which button was pressed. With 38 ringtones and 5 volume levels (including silent mode), you can tailor it to your environment. The ability to assign different sounds to each button is a smart touch. Ideal for anyone caring for elderly family members or managing a small clinic.

Unboxing the DAYTECH Caregiver Pager felt like everything was thought through to make setup a breeze. Inside the box, you'll find a receiver unit, a handy transmitter with a lanyard, some adhesive pads for mounting if you prefer, and even a mini screwdriver for those tiny battery screws. They didn’t skimp on the details—everything you need is right there, including the batteries, so you can get started without any extra trips to the store. The system itself is straightforward and user-friendly, perfect for seniors or anyone who might need to call for assistance. The transmitter is super easy to use, with a large, easy-to-press "CALL" button that’s also waterproof, making it reliable even in a splash-prone environment like the bathroom. The receiver offers customizable ringtones and volume levels, and the range is impressive enough for most home setups. The instructions are a bit generic, but you won’t need a manual to figure this one out. Overall, it’s a solid choice for anyone looking to add a bit of security and peace of mind to their daily routine.

Upon unboxing the DAYTECH Caregiver Pager Wireless Alert Button for Seniors Battery Powered Emergency Call Buttons system you are presented with 1 x receiver unit, 1 x transmitter unit, 1 x neck lanyard (for the transmitter), 2 x double side adhesive pads (if you want to mount the transmitter instead of wearing it), 3 x AAA alkaline batteries, mini screwdriver (for opening the transmitter to change the battery) and user manual. This wireless pager system allows a senior or anybody to press the call button and have it alert a caregiver (via the receiver) that assistance is required. The transmitter is wearable (via lanyard) or mountable (via double-sided adhesive mounting pads. The transmitter has a large rubberized button on it that says 'CALL'. The transmitter takes 1 x 23A battery which is included and already installed in the transmitter. The transmitter is opened to replace the battery by removing 3 small screws on the back of the unit. A mini screwdriver is included to remove the screws. The transmitter is rated as IP55 waterproof. The receiver is powered by 3 x AAA batteries (included). The receiver has 5 adjustable volume levels from 0 to 100dB. There is also two LEDs on the front that flash when the unit is activated. The unit has 55 selectable ringtones. The receiver can be placed on a table or wall mounted (screws not included). The receiver/transmitter has a claimed range of 150m/500ft in an open area. I did not test this distance claim so I can't verify that it is accurate. These units do not connect to the internet so can not be used remotely. The user manual is generic instructions for a pager and door bell and door sensor. Most of the instructions are not applicable to this senior's pager unit.Overall, this a good quality, useful pager unit for seniors and their caregivers. Based on my experiences so far I can recommend this pager unit system.Priced at $28.99 at the time of this review with a coupon available for an 8% discount.

I purchase this for my elderly mother to wear at night in case of a fall or other emergency. She doesn't mind the band around her wrist while sleeping and it has given us peace of mind. The nice thing about it versus a "baby monitor" is we only hear it if she actually pushes the button for help, instead of hearing every toss and turn or snoring, etc.I didn't give it a 5 star because the instruction sheet doesn't seem to provide me with info about battery replacement, for example. The receiver plugs into the wall, but the watch must have some type of battery that will need to be replaced at some point, and I've found no documentation on how to go about doing that.

I bought this for my aunt when she was bedridden. She didnt have the energy to call for help when needed and you can adjust the volumn so the buzz can be heard from the next room over. It can get quite loud! The first night she got it, she needed to use it 3 times. It allows peace of mind knowing she can have timely assistance rather than having to wait for someone to check on her. Highly recommend!

My wife has fallen in the shower before and her watch did not alert me . I ordered this alert button and plug in the receiver but the button in the shower and it works great. Not a fan of the watch so didn't use it. But the alert button gives me a peace of mind when she showers.
