Worked great for pressing out and in new lower ball joints for car, would work for pressing in bearings too for hub assembly.Highly recommend, less than half price of other suppliers like Princess Auto

Easy to use, and great value for your money.Hoping to not have to do my Upper and lower ball joints anytime soon.Tip: keep them in the freezer up until you have to install them. Saves a ton of grunt work.

It's not bad but it needs adjusting some things. First, the metal is iron, not steel. Secondly, there are many pieces inside the box of the same size and only a small difference in length. There must be a difference in the size of the pieces so that the consumer can use it for more than one job. The box is made of plastic and is very bad. The arm must be approximately 4 inches longer than it is to be suitable for many tasks

when i first ordered it the case came destroyed, seller reached out to me and sent me a new case. i have no complaints about the set. solid ball joint press with lots of adapters

I'd give no star if that was an option anyways this press didn't even press out a u joint before seizing right up. It's not worth the 110$ dollars save yourself the money and the hassle. Edit seller offered a full refund,then Insulted me by trying to refund me 30$ then half then he quit talking to me thanks for wasting a week of my time Poor business practice I wouldn't recommend anything this seller sells!!!!!

Short story: Its a tough bit of kit that can certainly do the job.Long storySo I had 2 ball joints to change on a vauxhall movano 08, looked over this type of ball joint press a few times and wondered if it would be up to the task.... but happily I can say it was and the kit has plenty of fittings to get the job done. Although i dont think it had the exact adapter to press them them out, I just used the clamp itself to push down on the ball joint with the receiver fitting the other side to press into and it all came out nicelyThe main part for me was it definitely has all the right attachments(both sides press and receiver attachements) to press the new one back in as i didn't want to man handle the new ones and it went a treatIt's a wopping clamp, a real meaty bit of kit with a nice variety of attachmentsWhen pressing the old ones, out I just cleaned them, added some wd40 left it a while, greased the thread on the clamp spindol and just took it slowly with a breaker bar(19" long) allowing a little bit of time before each turn when it was getting some good resistance. Sometimes I would back it off a little the apply pressure again and all of a sudden it started to move bit by bit.Hope it works out for you guys like it did for me, all the best guys and thanks amazon for a nice bit of kit at a fair price

I wanted a tool that would help me with the control arm bushings on my 2006 Saturn Ion.I wasn't able to press the old ones out, just because the inner and outer diameter of the press adapter has to be so specific for this. It wasn't a big deal since you can take a hacksaw to the outer steel ring and pop them out pretty easy after that.The new bushings did press in fairly easy with this tool and a long breaker bar. It was a bit awkward doing this on my garage floor, but the results were worth the effort.All in all it's a study tool, and worked well for me so far.
