This pump fit in the stock location, with the inlet and outlets in the right place, with mounting holes that lined up. It's working now, but TBD how long it will last. 5 stars for now.

Using this transfer pump to move water between a rain barrel and an irrigation setup, the pump does move quite a bit of water with ease. The insulation is very straightforward. If you've ever used 12 volt system, I use a battery that I have on a dolly. Like all pumps, this one can be a bit noisy but it's not annoying loud. Overall. This pump does what it says and moves quite a bit of water in a short amount of time

Our new RV was a pleasure to take out last year. Unfortunately, one of the annoyances we found was less than stellar water pressure when we hit the road. Obviously, a fresh water hookup should bypass the pump and allow for a good stream of water. We found that the initial test was pretty good once we flushed the anti-freeze from the water lines. We did find some of the anti-freeze gelled in the lines and slowed our supply until we cleaned the aerators. Since the initial shake-down, we have noticed a diminished flow. We decided to upgrade the pump when we take the RV out of storage and flush all the lines again. This DC House 55 PSI pump may help us with our pressure issues. The flow rate of 3.5 gallons per minute will be better than the current state of affairs. We currently run about 1.5 to 2 GPM. It's okay, but normal house pressure in your house averages between 35 and 60 PSI, so we hope to achieve this benchmark with the new pump. The pump is stoutly built and includes threaded hose barb connectors as well as a strainer to keep the pump clear of debris. We're not sure if our current pump has a strainer and whether or not it is clogged, but the key to any strainer is to make it accessible for service, which we anticipate doing. The 2-wire hookup is terminated with female spade connectors, so connection should be relatively simple. Provided we enjoy a strong stream from our faucets in the RV, we will gladly upgrade this review to 5 stars once the unit is out of winter storage.

Awesome 12 volt water pump in a compact design. Very easy to set up and install. Built-in pressure switch turns pump on and off when it senses demand for water. Very quiet when running. Definitely a great value.
