This product element is ok, the issue is the very cheap white rubber washer. I is not strong enough and it caused a leak of gigantic proportions on both my elements. I went to a local hardware store and bought 2 more elements. No problem.

Copper element was making noise. We have hard water so I got these steel ones. They work well enough but I don’t like the wire screws. The wire was getting warm which may be normal heating up fresh water. But also turning the screws moved the blue plastic something. I am going to keep using them but have some quality concerns. The cheap copper ones from Lowe’s had better screws and the plastic housing did not shift.
