Your cart is empty.Waste gates provide a means to control the boost pressure of the turbo charged engine. Waste gates work to bypass exhaust flow from the turbine wheel. Bypassing the exhaust flow reduces the power driving the turbine wheel to match the power required for a given boost level. Similar to the BOV, the Waste gates uses boost pressure and spring force to regulate the flow bypassing the turbine. Waste gates are bolted to exhaust manifold or header. The advantage of external Waste gates is that the bypassed flow can be reintroduced into the exhaust stream further downstream of the turbine. This tends to improve the turbine's performance.

This is my second BOV I purchased. Works good, never had an issue controlling boost with my LS swapped car. I am upgrading to a better twin scroll turbo with dual BOV’s so I bought a second one. Has a metal bushing, and good quality vbands that have worked good for me over the last couple years. Highly recommend

i bought a purple one and a red one for two different vehicles. both have vsracing 7875 turbos and both I can control boost down to 3psi so I can run a round on pump gas then wen I run e85 I can turn it us with a single three port Mac Valve
