Recommend removing the rear panel after disconnecting power to oven. There are several screws to remove but install of Broil Element is a lot easier than trying to remove door and installing from inside of oven. Note, the terminals push on but some are L-shaped making removal from inside oven difficult.

These stove elements used to be cheap, but not any more…what used to be 15 dollars is now 285 dollars…Go Figure… In any case , I purchased "a return or damaged package" for a third of the cost. The Amazon Warehouse was transparent about the issues, tested it, and shipped it quickly…..I installed it and it works.

I thought I’d do a little self diagnosing regarding my oven which was not properly heating. I installed this element, it still didn’t work. I paid for a service call which cost about $120, only to find out it was the computer in my oven which would cost more to replace than the 5 year old range was worth. So I sent the part back to Amazon, and am now using my BBQ for my oven, saving me hundreds of dollars! But the oven doesn’t work. 😢It looks good though!
