This football is great quality, the size is perfect, and the grip is good, even for my 9-year-old's small hands. And he's had no problem throwing it, so the weight is perfect for all kinds of kids.The look of it is a little less impressive than some other similar products though; it is way more opaque than others I've seen, so it's going to light up and be visible, but not at dusk, only when the night gets truly dark. I'm still going to bring it to the beach and see how it works!

I recently got a light up football for my son and immediately regretted it. It was identical to a water football with fabric and had grippy. This thing is a REAL football. Size and quality are identical to a football you can get from academy; but better because it’s neon orange. And it’s bright!! It also came with extra batteries and batteries already installed which is a huge bonus for this product and company cause there’s nothing worse than having to run out to get batteries not realizing you needed to. Awesome night time ball. You’ll see it coming from any distance. I used an air compressor with a ball needle attachment to blow it up and haven’t had any issues with air retention at all.
