Stays at 79 degrees and as soon as it gets to 78 it turns on having the aquarium at the right temp. For the price I can’t complain. It’s easy to clean also.

This works just fine, I just knocked stars off because it’s so bulky and unsightly in a tiny betta tank. This same brand makes other heaters of the same wattage for similar pricing that are less than half the size of this one. So aesthetically I would go for the smaller less unsightly one.

My only gripe is the set temp tends to be off by as much as 2 degrees based on my external thermometer, but the easy adjustment more than makes up the differenceWould buy again

I used this for my small, 3 gallon shrimp tanks. Very nice quality, easy to install and set to the desired temp. It shows current temp and green/red light to let you know when it's heating. Gives me peace of mind not worrying if they're too hot/cold. Really great product and price!
