It's impossible to make a proper flare when the guide slot isn't even square in the tool. It will bend every time because you are pushing at 90 degrees on a tube that is held on an angle. Save you money.

The flaring tool is very solid. While I first struggled to get the brake line to be held in the clamp, it became clear that using wrench to tighten the wing nuts was necessary.There was no grease with the flaring tool, so I used some silicone grease on the tip of the yoke driver and in the die. I would try another type of grease(graphite, lithium or molybdenum) next time.In regard to doing ISO Bubble flares, the reverse side can be used, but there is no gauge included. The line must be 5mm above the base of the clamp. It takes some practice to get the 45 degrees.

I will not hold the tube in place, the clamp is very weak metal. Double flares are very uneven because of this.
