I purchased the large combination hand gun vault. It comes set to 000. It wouldn't open. Thought it was broken so had a replacement sent. I couldn't get it opened either. Called the company and they suggested prying it open with a butter knife. I am not making this up. I tried prying it open with a small pry bar. Still can't get it open.

This was perfect for airport travel. The downside is my luggage got smashed and the case was extremely hard to open because it was pushed in. I had to use a few tools pry it back to it's original position.

This is a great item from lockdown and fits really well. It is important to read the installation instructions. Make sure that you buy the correct model for your vehicle. Once installed it works really well and provides the security and peace of mind while traveling.

The slot for the cable lock is there. The cable lock is not there. 😕You'll need to buy a slim cable lock to be able to leave the lock box in your vehicle, in California.Otherwise, a very basic and usable lockbox. Not top of the line.
