Works fine. Keeps kids out but not much else. Just know that all 3 mechanisms can open the safe at any point (unless there is no power, then only the key). So if someone sees the PIN code, it doesn't matter how well you hide your thumb or the key. Overall though, it's good value for the price and portable.

This safe is small and lightweight but feels solid and secure. It has a full metal exterior and comes with a steel cable to help secure it. Setup is easy, but the voice prompts and beeps are very loud, during setup and when using in general. Fortunately, it can easily be silenced by pressing “6” for 5 seconds, and silence mode can be deactivated by doing the same (pressing “6” for 5 seconds).It comes with two keys but can also be opened using a custom passcode and fingerprint. When I input the passcode or use my fingerprint, the lights flash and it pops open (and it beeps loudly when not in silence mode), but it does occasionally stick but will open after the lid is pressed or after additional tries. It has some very thin padding inside on the top and bottom plus on the hinge side. There is no padding on the other sides.This does not come with batteries. I assumed it came with rechargeable batteries due to the usb-c charging port, but it uses regular AA batteries, which aren’t included. Per the instructions, it can be plugged in on low or no power, and then the passcode can be used.I wanted a backup power source since I keep this safe in my car for whenever I’m not able to conceal carry, and to keep a small amount of emergency cash. I don’t want to keep a key in the car, so it’s great for peace of mind knowing I can use alternate power in a bind. I’m using quality batteries though, so it shouldn’t be an issue. It has a low-power warning, which I’m assuming will work even in silence mode because the voice prompts work when entering setup even when in silence mode.I like the included cable lock. It’s easy to attach to my car, and the safe itself is small enough to fit under my seat while still being large enough to store a lot. This safe also comes with screw holes at the bottom, and screws, to mount to a wall.

This is a safe for smaller items that I would consider more a lock box but that is mostly semantics. At first look is seems very well made though it's on the light side in my opinion.The safe is very feature packed. There are 3 ways to open it: physical key (2 are included), 6 digit password (the password MUST be 6 digits), or with a fingerprint. Multiple passwords and fingerprints can be programmed. Overall this strategy is very solid. If you're the owner you'll be able to get in the safe.The safe is powered by 4 AA batteries that are not included. I strongly advise using lithium chemistry AAs for long life and peace of mind. There is a low battery alert that is activated when you press a button or the fingerprint sensor, but as my batteries are new I couldn't test it. The unit comes with a USB cable that is not for charging but for powering the safe when the batteries are dead and you have lost your keys allowing access. Very nice feature.I found programing very easy. As a matter of fact the fingerprint programming and recognition is better than that on my phone. Password programming is also very easy with a verification feature to be sure the password you put in is the one you think you did. The only thing about the password is that it must be 6 digits. I have my go to passwords but they're all 4 digit. No biggie tho.There is a small LED light inside that comes on for a time when the safe is opened. It's not bright but you should be able to find what your looking for by feel anyway. For what it is advertised for I feel that the size is perfect. Be aware the lid flips up/open so using this under a vehicle seat is not really an option.I plan on using this in vehicles or my camper. I haven't tried prying it open but I bet with a big enough screwdriver you could do it. But in my opinion this is more about keeping unauthorized people out not stopping practiced criminals. It does come with a tether cable as well as mounting screws. The cable is thin but your not going to break with bare hands.Overall this is perfect for my needs and has the functionality I need, providing peace of mind that unauthorized people will be kept out and I can always get in.

I like the size in that it is just big enough for a 1911 and 2 clips comfortably. It uses batteries to power the fingerprint sensor and code buttons, but also has a physical key as a backup. the box is sturdy enough that I cannot pry it open and it has screw mounts on the inside to mount it to the inside of my nightstand drawer. I used some thin Maple wood under the bottom of the drawer to reinforce the base for attaching the screws through the bottom of the safe to. This makes it harder to pull, or rip out.Before I mounted it, I got my grandkids together(after programming it to my finger) and let them see me put a $20 bill in and lock it. I told them they have 1 hour to try to get it open and they can have the $20. All 4 of them tried and could not get it open. I then opened it and gave them the $20 to split. Afterwards, I picked a bunch of old family pictures and had them help me put the pictures in the box. I told them this is where I want to protect my favorite old pictures and then I locked the box. Now, when they see the box in my drawer, they will think it is just a bunch of old pics inside.It reads my finger 9 out of 10 times. It reads the code 10 out of 10 times and the key works every time. I am confident that, in an emergency, I will be able to get it quickly open.It is
