Received the ProScale XC501 in brand new condition today, within the delivery time frame specified. The scale is indeed pocket size and it works well. I tested the scale with known weights and the measurements came out accurately. Due to the sensitivity of the scale, measurements should be taken a few times to confirm accuracy. If you gently breathe on the scale while weighing, it can adversely affect the measurement. So make sure there is no wind or vibration of any kind that may affect measurement readings. And you should also allow for small +/- deviations either way as this is not a high-end or scientific scale.The attached pictures show the accuracy of the scale. One ounce silver maple leaf coin measurement came in spot on at 1 troy ounce. So did the 500 gram calibration test weight. Testing the 500 gram calibration test weight a second time, the measurement came in at 500.01 g. So there will be very slight differences that may (or may not) be attributable to the environment you are in.The only other comment I can add that would make the ProScale XC501 an even better buy is if it came with a 500 g calibration test weight. Overall I'm pleased with this purchase at this price point.

Great little scale. Very helpful that it goes to one pound. The slide mechanism is very well made. After a few months of daily use it remains as good as new. Very well made.

The scale I got was defective right out of the box. Can’t calibrate or weight anything when I put a weight on the scale, stays at 0. What a piece of garbage. I’m so confused as to why this product has so many positive reviews. Maybe I’m the unlucky one to get a lemon? Returned scale today. Won’t be getting a replacement. I’ll order another brand.

I didn't know the display slide away so you can easily store it!I love this scale, it is my favorite small precision scale. I found it to be very accurate in my testing.The build quality is great compared to other in the prices range it is a nice solid scale, with a great sized weighing platform.
