The TOURBON Leather Pistol Holster Right Handgun Holster for Belt with forward cant is a very nice-looking holster. Its medium brown finish and tooling looks very refined. It has heavy duty stitching holding the front and back together. It slides right over a leather belt for perfect placement. As with all leather holsters, I did find it necessary to work the leather by hand to help soften the leather for a more perfect fit. It holds my 5" Gov't 1911 perfectly with no issues with holding or drawing the pistol. I'm a huge fan of this holsters slim and sleek design that helps it conceal well. I'm extremely satisfied with this TOURBON leather holster and consider it an excellent value!

Do not buy this if you want a good leather holster. I bought this so I didn't have to put in the work building one. Never again. It is extremely thin "leather," very light duty, when wet moulding it was not very reactive, and kinda felt like pleather. Drying it caused it to burn and crack, and become brittle. Even oil couldn't save it. Save your money, do not buy this.

Bourbon you disappoint. Your products are usually quite good and I own a number of them. This holster is a different animal and I'm afraid to show it to any of my 1911's. This thing must have ridden on the bottom of the shipping container

I like the fit of the holster on my side. It is made of a thin leather or leather product. The stitching looks pretty good and the stamping of the the leather is very good. The belt loops are large enough to fit a nylon belt I own, so that is good. The cons might be that the leather is thin and sewn flat, causing it to bulge when you place you handgun into it.. It fit my handgun very well, but I am not sure yet what would happen long term, especially if I change firearms.
